The formula

Digestive Enzyme Powder, and why it is built this way

A plant and fungal enzyme blend — protease, amylase, lipase and cellulase — for animals whose own digestion struggles with fat or plant matter. Common with pancreatitis-prone dogs, seniors, and animals on a high-fat diet.

No papain from unripe papaya, no HCl — harsh on the stomach lining.

What it does

Three things you can expect

01

Helps break down fat

Lipase is the enzyme most often deficient in pancreatic insufficiency.

02

Reduces gas and bloating

Undigested carbohydrate ferments in the colon — cellulase and amylase address it.

03

Works with food

Mixed into the meal, active before the food reaches the small intestine.

Questions

Before you buy

Is this the same as pancreatic enzyme replacement?
No. Prescription pancreatic enzymes are far more concentrated and are a veterinary treatment. This is a general digestive support product.
Can I give it with probiotics?
Yes, and it is a good pairing. Give the probiotic at a different meal if possible.
Does it help with coprophagia?
Sometimes — if the cause is incomplete digestion. It will not fix a behavioural habit.
