Is this the same as cod liver oil?
No. Cod liver oil carries high vitamin A and D; salmon oil does not, so it is safer for daily long-term use.
How should I store it?
Fridge, upright, cap tight, used within 90 days of opening.
Does it help with scratching?
It supports the skin barrier and can reduce dryness-driven scratching. It is not an antihistamine — allergies need a vet's diagnosis.
